A dedicated public servant, Kevin Patrick has been an integral part of the Villa Park community since 1994. A graduate of Jefferson Middle School and Willowbrook High School, Kevin’s commitment to Villa Park runs deep, having served as a Village Trustee since 2019 and previously holding leadership roles in various community organizations. Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies from Elmhurst University and is currently completing his master’s degree in Emergency Management and Homeland Security with a concentration in Community Resilience from Arizona State University.
Kevin’s dedication to service began with his honorable service in the United States Coast Guard, where he served as a first responder during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and later in deployments to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. His career is further distinguished by his roles as a founding member of the Department of Homeland Security, positions at Argonne National Laboratory, and holding multiple high-level security clearances, including a “Q” clearance for the Department of Energy. These experiences have shaped his approach to governance and community leadership.
As Village Trustee, Kevin has focused on responsible growth, fiscal responsibility, and community engagement. His passion for Villa Park extends beyond his professional work; he is also a coach for local youth sports and a volunteer for school STEAM events. Kevin’s vision for the future of Villa Park includes promoting sustainable economic growth, enhancing public safety, and improving infrastructure, all while ensuring the village remains a vibrant, inclusive place to live, work, and raise a family.
